Zeiss Loxia Prime Lens Set of 4

The Zeiss Loxia prime lenses are beautifully made and very sharp. They are faster than the Sony lenses and are fully manual, with 180° focus movement making them easy to use with the follow focus (you will need a gear). In addition to this they have been designed so that you can un-click the aperture control enabling you to pull aperture smoothly. The other great advantages of these lenses are that they cover full frame and are small and inconspicuous. This means you can film on an A7S without attracting attention in public places.

21mm

The 21mm is a crisp, clean, pleasant wide-angle lens on the A7S and reasonably wide on the FS7.

35mm

The 35mm is a very useful lens, especially if you’re working at night, and is wide enough to give you a reasonable depth of field without it being noticeably “a wide-angle lens”. As with the other Loxia lenses, it’s small enough to be inconspicuous, especially when used with the A7S.

50mm

The 50mm is pretty much standard on a full frame camera and slightly telephoto on a super 35mm film chip. With an aperture of f2 it can give you amazing results on the FS7 and A7S, as well as any other Sony E Mount camera.
